Pholo: Live music and video interaction

NASO2 will be touring Europe from 1 to 15 of July, a trio of musicians playing contemporary/improvised music with strong electronic influences. NASO 2 is an Italian trio of musicians from Turin, Italy, (Simone Farò – guitar, Paolo Possidente – drums, Filippo Gillono – guitar) working in the field of improvised/experimental music. Their first album ISOKSELE, which was released at the end of May 2021. Last July they toured across Europe, played 17 gigs through the month, in Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, and the Netherlands. The scheduled location of 2021 events will be Lubjana, Vienna, Wroclaw, Poznan, Berlin, Poznan, Gorzów, Wielkopolski, Regen, Novi Sad, Zagreb and Prague.
PHOLO is a multidisciplinary project formed in 2021. The musical performance by Paolo Possidente interacts in real-time with the video artwork by Celeste Correale and Roberto Vietti. PHOLO is focusing on the exploration of the possible interactions between sounds generated through acoustic drums, modified with electronics, and the abstract videos, dynamic visual artworks, made by the two video artists. The electro-acoustic approach in the music combines
with the glitch aesthetics in the videos. Music and videos concur in generating an immersive moment of con-division involving performer and audience, with the purpose of exploring an unusual psychophysical state, a sense of depth that has to do with meditation
